Brick Reinforcement Coil - 20m STAINLESS STEEL
Produced for brick and block work reinforcement. Its primary usage is to prevent cracking. Manufactured from A2 Stainless Steel for ultimate corrosion resistance. Stainless steel must be used where there is corrosive environment and/or the base material has inherent corrosive characteristics e.g. Green Oak.
Stainless Steel 1.4301 to BS EN10088-2:2014
- Mesh must be bedded and covered in fresh mortar before laying course above
- Overlap ends by 75mm
- Use at maximum 225mm vertical centres, providing a 600mm projection beyond jambs
- Used to reduce cracking in masonry around areas of high stress e.g. windows or doors
- No joints, interweaving or welds to fail under stress
- Can easily be cut to size using tin-snips or aviation cutters
